Rosamond was employed as Senate Staff Attorney in December 1990 and promoted to Director in August 2018; he previously served as Assistant Attorney General from May 1987 through December 1990

Responsible for multiple committee assignments including Insurance, Public Utilities, Business and Financial Institutions, Accountability, Efficiency & Transparency, and Appropriations

Played a significant role in the passage of tort reform legislation during the early 2000s addressing medical malpractice and general tort reform issues affecting insurance rates

Resolution to be presented to Rosamond and his family, forwarded to The Mississippi Bar, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps
