Commends and congratulates Nakobe Dean, outside linebacker for the University of Georgia National Champion football team and Horn Lake High School alumnus, for his outstanding college football career.

Recognizes Dean's 2021 Butkus Award (nation's best linebacker), First-Team All-SEC Honors, 168 total tackles and 7.5 sacks in his junior year, and his participation in Georgia's 33-18 defeat of Alabama for the national title.

Highlights Dean's community service including $10,000 donation to Hope Community Center, $200,000 raised for "Dawgs for Pups," $100,000 for Wi-Fi hotspots, and 27,000 pounds of food collected for the Northeast Georgia Food Bank.

Notes Dean's 3.53 GPA in Mechanical Engineering, 2018 Dick Butkus Award as nation's top high school linebacker, and participation in the MHSAA 6A State Football Championship at Horn Lake.
