Requires all law enforcement officers in Mississippi to complete training on identifying and interacting with people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias as part of initial certification and continuing education.

Mandates minimum of 4 hours of initial training covering dementia symptoms, behavioral techniques, abuse reporting, caregiver protocols, and local resources for dementia care.

Requires minimum of 2 hours of continuing education in dementia training for ongoing law enforcement certification.

Directs the board to develop the dementia training program in cooperation with the Department of Human Services, State Department of Health, or MIND Center at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Places officers who fail to complete required dementia training on inactive status until their employing agency confirms successful completion; allows agencies to maintain more rigorous requirements than state minimums.
