Joint Legislative PEER Committee must review and evaluate performance outcomes of TANF fund subcontracts and subgrants awarded by the Department of Human Services at least once every two years

Committee must examine how subcontractors, subgrantees, and lower-tier subrecipients expended the funds and determine if expenditures met requirements or goals

Committee must prepare a written report of findings and evaluations and submit it to all Legislature members

First report must be submitted no later than February 1, 2024

Act takes effect July 1, 2023
