Allows motorboat operators born after June 30, 1980 to satisfy boating safety requirements by carrying either a boating safety certificate or a driver's license that indicates completion of an approved boating safety course.

Authorizes the Commissioner of Public Safety to issue driver's licenses, temporary permits, and commercial licenses that display "Boat" or other identifying mark to show completion of a boating safety course conducted or approved by the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.

Requires persons requesting the boating safety designation on their license to present their certificate of satisfactory completion of the boating safety course in person at a Mississippi Department of Public Safety Driver's License Station.

Exempts persons operating rented motorboats from the requirement to possess a boating safety certificate or designation.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
