Designates a 6-mile segment of Interstate 55 South in Jackson, Hinds County, Mississippi (from County Line Road to Fortification Street) as "Representative Alyce Griffin Clarke Way"

Requires the Mississippi Department of Transportation to erect and maintain signs along the designated highway segment

Removes the prohibition in Mississippi Code Section 65-3-38.1 that prevented naming state highways after elected officials during their term of office or within 10 years after leaving office

Retains the requirement that governing bodies of affected counties and municipalities must adopt resolutions requesting legislative action before naming highways, roads, streets, or bridges on the state highway system

Takes effect July 1, 2023
