Establishes legal framework for selling pet insurance in Mississippi to residents, including policies sold, solicited, negotiated or delivered in the state.

Requires pet insurers to disclose whether policies exclude coverage for preexisting conditions, hereditary disorders, congenital anomalies, or chronic conditions, and to disclose other policy limitations such as waiting periods, deductibles, coinsurance, and annual or lifetime limits.

Requires pet insurers to disclose whether they reduce coverage or increase premiums based on claim history, pet age, or geographic location changes, and whether the underwriting company differs from the brand name used to market the product.

Allows any person licensed in a major line of authority and appointed by a pet insurer to sell, solicit, or negotiate pet insurance products, with the Insurance Commissioner authorized to establish training requirements for producers.

Takes effect July 1, 2023, and authorizes the Insurance Commissioner to issue rules and regulations regarding policy disclosures, conditions, sales practices, and violations.
