Adds paragraph (28) to Section 43-13-115 establishing Medicaid eligibility for individuals under 65 years of age who are not pregnant and not entitled to Medicare benefits with income not exceeding 133% of the federal poverty level.

Eligible individuals under the new provision receive benchmark coverage or benchmark equivalent coverage as defined in the federal Social Security Act.

Division of Medicaid determines eligibility for individuals covered under the new provision.

Implements expansion authorized under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Effective date: July 1, 2023.
