Amends Section 27-104-203 of the Mississippi Code to add the Department of Public Safety to the list of state agencies exempted from the prohibition on charging other state agencies for services and resources.

The general rule prohibits state agencies from charging each other fees, assessments, rent, audit fees, personnel fees, or other charges for services or resources received, effective July 1, 2016.

Allows the Department of Public Safety to charge other state agencies for services, joining existing exceptions for higher education institutions, community colleges, and the State Department of Education.

Takes effect upon passage.
