Authorize issuance of state general obligation bonds not exceeding $3,000,000 to assist City of Jackson with costs related to the Farish Street Historic District Park project.

Bond proceeds may be used for land acquisition, building demolition, and construction and development of park and related facilities in the Farish Street Historic District.

City of Jackson prohibited from using funds to acquire land within 400 feet of premises licensed under Local Option Alcoholic Beverage Control Law prior to acquisition.

Create "2023 City of Jackson Farish Street Historic District Park Fund" as special fund within State Treasury, with unexpended amounts and investment earnings remaining in the fund rather than reverting to General Fund.

Bonds authorized under this act are general obligations of Mississippi with full faith and credit of the state pledged for payment; no bonds may be issued after July 1, 2027.
