Imposes two-term consecutive limit for all elected officials in Mississippi, including state legislators, constitutional officers, judges, county commissioners, and municipal officials

Officials become ineligible to serve again in the same office after completing two or more full consecutive terms until at least one full term has intervened during which they did not serve

Service time from filling a vacancy for less than a full term does not count toward the term limitation

Applies to House and Senate members, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, State Auditor, Attorney General, judges (Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, circuit, and chancery), mayors, council members, sheriffs, county education board members, and other elected officials at state and local levels

Effective July 1 following the year the Secretary of State certifies passage of the constitutional amendment proposed in HCR____, 2023 Regular Session
