Authorizes pharmacists to test, screen for, and treat minor, nonchronic health conditions including influenza, streptococcus, respiratory illness, lice, urinary tract infections, and fungal skin conditions.

Permits pharmacists to use Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)-waived tests and allows delegation of test administration to pharmacy interns or technicians under pharmacist supervision.

Expands the definition of "practice of pharmacy" to include ordering, performing, and interpreting FDA-authorized and CLIA-waived tests, and initiating, administering, or modifying drug therapy.

Prohibits health benefit plans from denying reimbursement for pharmacist services and procedures that fall within the pharmacist's license scope and would be covered if performed by physicians, advanced practice nurses, or physician assistants.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
