Requires the Department of Human Services to establish and maintain the Mississippi Vulnerable Persons Abuse Registry containing names of individuals convicted of abusing, neglecting, or exploiting vulnerable persons.

Mandates courts notify the Department of Human Services of all criminal convictions arising from violations of vulnerable person abuse statutes, with documentation of the conviction required.

Requires care facilities to query the registry regarding employees and prospective employees to verify they have not been convicted of vulnerable person abuse crimes.

Allows members of the public to request access to query the registry when hiring caretakers or persons in positions of trust over vulnerable persons, with access limited in duration and governed by department rules.

Allows individuals to request removal from the registry through a process to be established by the Department of Human Services, with conviction information remaining confidential except for authorized disclosures to care facilities and the public.
