Modifies Section 37-73-3 of the Mississippi Code to change the Office of Workforce Development's directive from piloting to implementing a career coaching program in middle schools and high schools on a long-term basis.

Career coaches shall expose, prepare, and connect students to career opportunities through partnerships with business leaders and school districts, aligning student strengths with academic and work-based learning.

Office of Workforce Development, working through the Department of Employment Security as fiscal agent, shall establish rules and regulations for the program and may grant funds to eligible recipients including state agencies, regional workforce entities, and nonprofits to hire coaches.

Office of Workforce Development shall establish criteria for coaches, work with partner organizations to identify candidates, and measure program outcomes.

Effective upon passage, contingent on legislative appropriation.
