Requires school districts with Level 3 or below ratings on the Mississippi Report Card to implement mandatory school uniforms and gender-separated student classes beginning in the 2023-2024 school year.

Mandates implementation of home economics and social usage classes for middle school students, hiring of school resource officers and counselors, and distance learning options for mathematics, science, and business courses when qualified teachers are unavailable.

Requires mandatory daily homework assignments in all classes from kindergarten through Grade 12, including a minimum of five vocabulary words per week with spelling, definitions, and sentence usage requirements.

Mandates teaching of business and finance classes with entrepreneurship competitions and establishment of mandatory spelling bees, mathematics bees, and science bees in every class.

Effective July 1, 2023.
