Amends Section 97-5-39 of the Mississippi Code to expand the definition of contributing to the delinquency of a minor to include knowingly causing a child to violate the Uniform Controlled Substances Law.

Adds knowingly causing a child to participate in gang or gang-related activities as a criminal offense under the contributing to delinquency statute.

Maintains existing penalties: conviction is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding $1,000, imprisonment not exceeding one year in jail, or both.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
