Increases the harvest permit fee for vehicles hauling sand, gravel, woodchips, wood shavings, sawdust, fill dirt, agricultural products, bulk feed, wood pellets, or unprocessed forestry products from $25.00 to $500.00 per permit.

Extends the repeal date of harvest permit authority from July 1, 2023, to July 1, 2026.

Permits remain valid for one year from date of issue and must be displayed as a decal on the upper left corner of the windshield on the driver's side.

Fees collected continue to be deposited into a special fund in the State Treasury and distributed quarterly to counties on an equal basis for road and bridge maintenance.

Effective date: July 1, 2023.
