Appropriates $1,500,000 from the State General Fund to the Board of Supervisors of Claiborne County for recreational facilities improvements during fiscal year 2024 (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024).

Allocates up to $400,000 for upgrades to Fairgrounds baseball field lights, scoreboard, and related facilities.

Allocates up to $200,000 to replace the Pattison basketball court with new concrete, goals, fencing, lighting, and benches.

Allocates up to $300,000 each for: replacing three older playgrounds at Russum, Pattison, and Fairgrounds; replacing pavilion and bathrooms at Hermanville ball field; and upgrading Fairgrounds softball field including lights, infield surface, fencing, dugouts, and press box.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
