Appropriates $16,169,614 from the State General Fund and $335,000 from special funds to the Mississippi Department of Insurance for fiscal year 2024 (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024)

Authorizes 129 permanent positions and sets performance targets including issuing 165,000 producer licenses, 290,000 agent certificates of authority, conducting 5,720 fire marshal inspections, and 7,500 liquefied compressed gas inspections

Allocates $9,000,000 from the Annual Fire Fund for fire-related purposes and $2,000,000 for the Rural Fire Truck Matching Assistance Program

Provides $3,000,000 to fund the Mississippi Length of Service Award Program for volunteer firefighters, $250,000 for the State Fire Marshal's Office fire safety prevention, and $130,000 for propane education and research programs

Includes $205,000 for vehicle purchases, $20,000 for National Conference of Insurance Legislators dues, and $15,079 for the Mississippi Fire Personnel Minimum Standards and Certification Board
