Appropriates $6,338,768.00 from the General Fund and $235,000.00 from special funds to the State Fire Academy for fiscal year 2024 (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024).

Authorizes 60 permanent positions for the agency with restrictions on salary increases and position escalations without approval from the Department of Finance and Administration.

Reappropriates $75,000.00 in Capital Expense Funds for a specialty rescue truck state match as previously authorized in House Bill 1594 (2022 Regular Session).

Allocates $160,000.00 from Capital Expense Funds for dorm room completion and $75,000.00 for vehicle purchase matching funds.

Sets performance targets requiring the State Fire Academy to train 15,000 students with an average cost of $440.49 per student and authorizes payment of $5,614.00 to Aramark Uniform for prior year commodities.
