Appropriates $4,680,452 from the State General Fund and $12,287,177 from special funds to the Mississippi Authority for Educational Television for fiscal year 2024 (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024)

Authorizes 80 permanent and 7 time-limited positions for the agency

Allocates $2,118,966 plus an additional $2,000,000 from the Education Enhancement Fund specifically for tower maintenance and upgrades

Reappropriates $3,048,822 from prior year funds for tower maintenance ($1,999,794), digitalization of 49 years of educational content ($700,000), and production of a Medgar Evers documentary ($349,028)

Establishes performance targets including 150 locally produced TV programs, 1,092 radio programs, 2,000 students served by the Digital Education Network, and 99.95% on-air reliability
