Increases the maximum amount of general obligation bonds that may be issued for the Chickasaw Heritage Center in Tupelo from $3,000,000 to $11,000,000.

Funds are to assist the Chickasaw Inkana Foundation in paying costs associated with construction, furnishing, and equipping of the heritage center.

Legislature intends that all state bond funds up to $16,000,000 be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Chickasaw Inkana Foundation, with state and foundation funds spent equally.

No bonds may be issued until the Chickasaw Inkana Foundation has broken ground on construction of the heritage center.

Bonds must be issued by July 1, 2027, and are general obligations of the State of Mississippi backed by full faith and credit.
