Authorizes the State Bond Commission to issue general obligation bonds not exceeding $600,000 to assist Greene County with repair, renovation, expansion, and improvements to the Greene County Rural Events Center.

Creates a special fund called the "2023 Greene County Rural Events Center Improvements Fund" within the State Treasury to receive bond proceeds and disburse funds for the project.

Bonds may mature up to 25 years from issuance with interest rates not exceeding limits in Mississippi Code Section 75-17-101, and no bonds may be issued after July 1, 2027.

Bonds are general obligations of the State of Mississippi backed by full faith and credit, with income from the bonds exempt from state taxation and eligible as legal investments for trustees and financial institutions.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
