Adds new paragraph (28) to Section 43-13-115 of Mississippi Code to expand Medicaid eligibility to individuals under 65 years of age who are not pregnant and not enrolled in Medicare, with income not exceeding 133% of the federal poverty level.

Eligible individuals under the new paragraph receive benchmark coverage or benchmark equivalent coverage as defined under Section 1937 of the federal Social Security Act.

Division of Medicaid determines eligibility for individuals covered under this expansion.

Implements federal Affordable Care Act Medicaid expansion provisions authorized under federal law.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
