Extends the filing deadline for electronically filed or fax-transmitted campaign finance reports to 11:59 p.m. on the dates specified in subsection (b), instead of 5:00 p.m. for hand-delivered or mailed reports.

Maintains the 5:00 p.m. deadline for hand-delivered or mailed campaign finance reports.

When filing deadlines fall on weekends or legal holidays, both 5:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. deadlines move to 5:00 p.m. or 11:59 p.m., respectively, on the first working day before the specified date.

Applies the extended electronic filing deadline to all campaign finance reports required under Section 23-15-807, including pre-election reports, periodic reports, and year-end reports for candidates and political committees.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
