Repeals Section 11-1-66.1, Mississippi Code of 1972, which established the Landowners Protection Act

Removes language from the fault liability statute (Section 85-5-7) that allowed "fault" to include intentional torts by third parties in premises-liability actions on commercial or real property

Restores the general rule that "fault" under Mississippi liability law does not include torts committed with specific wrongful intent

Eliminates provisions that had allowed property owners to allocate fault to third-party criminals in premises liability lawsuits

Effective date of July 1, 2023
