Extends the repeal date of Mississippi Code sections 49-17-707 through 49-17-713, which establish and govern the Mississippi Gulf Coast Region Utility Board, from July 1, 2023 to July 1, 2026.

The utility board continues to function as a forum for Gulf Coast Region collaboration on water, wastewater, and stormwater issues, with authority to make recommendations and provide assistance to county authorities.

Board composition remains unchanged, consisting of county authority presidents and three at-large directors appointed by the Governor, with per diem and expense reimbursement for members.

Utility board retains all existing powers including hiring staff, entering contracts, accepting grants and funding, acquiring insurance, and making recommendations on regional water and infrastructure priorities.

Bill takes effect July 1, 2023, preserving the utility board's operations for an additional three years beyond the original sunset date.
