Establishes a 5-year statute of limitations for bribery of a candidate as defined in Section 97-11-11

Changes the statute of limitations for conspiracy to match the underlying offense the defendant allegedly conspired to commit, rather than the previous 5-year limit for all conspiracy charges

Removes conspiracy from the list of offenses with a specific 5-year limitation

Maintains the existing 2-year statute of limitations for offenses not specifically listed in the statute

Effective date of July 1, 2023
