Expands Mississippi Medicaid eligibility to include individuals under 65 years of age who are not pregnant, not entitled to Medicare, and have income not exceeding 133% of the federal poverty level, as authorized under the Affordable Care Act.

Eligible individuals under this new category receive benchmark coverage or benchmark equivalent coverage as defined under Section 1937 of the federal Social Security Act.

Division of Medicaid must determine eligibility for individuals under this new expansion category.

Effective date is July 1, 2023.
