Authorizes courts to void actions taken by public bodies that violate Mississippi's Open Meetings Law if the court determines the public interest in voiding the action outweighs the interest in sustaining it

Requires proof by preponderance of evidence that a violation occurred before a court can void the action

Establishes a statute of limitations requiring enforcement suits to be filed within 6 months of the violation, and no later than 2 years after the violation date

Exempts bond issuances and other public debt from being voided if a public hearing, election, or public sale was held regarding the bonds

Retains existing enforcement mechanisms including Mississippi Ethics Commission authority to impose civil penalties of $500 for first offense and $1,000 for subsequent offenses against members who willfully violate the law
