Amends Section 63-1-203 of the Mississippi Code to exclude county-owned garbage trucks from the definition of "commercial motor vehicle" for commercial driver's license purposes.

County-owned garbage truck operators will no longer be required to obtain a commercial driver's license to operate those vehicles.

Adds county-owned garbage trucks as a new exemption (item 5) to the existing list of vehicles excluded from commercial motor vehicle classification.

Effective July 1, 2023.
