Amends Section 25-3-92 to authorize state agencies to grant up to six days of administrative leave with pay within a six-month period to state employees who are qualified members of the Mississippi Wing of the Civil Air Patrol participating in official emergency services missions.

Employees granted leave under this provision are not considered state employees for purposes of workers' compensation or claims against the state under Chapter 46, Title 11 of Mississippi Code.

Authorizes public and private employers to grant leave of absence without loss of rank, pay, time, annual leave, or efficiency rating to employees who are active Civil Air Patrol members participating in official emergency services missions in Mississippi or contiguous states.

Allows Civil Air Patrol members to be restored to their original position or a position of like seniority, status, and pay if they remain qualified and apply for re-employment within 90 days after relief from emergency services, with job protection for up to one year.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
