Establishes Mississippi state minimum wage at $15.00 per hour, effective July 1, 2023.

Requires annual minimum wage adjustments on January 1 based on changes to the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) from the prior July 1 to June 30 period, calculated by the Mississippi Department of Employment Security.

Prohibits employers from counting tips or commissions toward minimum wage requirements.

Brings forward nine existing Mississippi Code sections for possible amendment, including provisions on poll manager compensation, state employee salaries, school employee leave, wage garnishment, and human trafficking definitions.

Prevents local counties and municipalities from establishing their own minimum wage rates or mandatory paid leave requirements, reserving such decisions for the state legislature.
