Amends Section 43-19-103 of Mississippi Code to add mental or physical disability of a child as a factor courts may consider when awarding or modifying child support.

Allows courts to overcome the presumption that guideline-based child support awards are just and appropriate by making written findings that application would be unjust or inappropriate based on specified criteria.

New factor includes consideration of children with disabilities who are incapable of self-support, including children over age 21 who require custodial parent care.

Effective July 1, 2023.
