Changes institutional names for consistency: "Mississippi State College for Women" to "Mississippi University for Women," "Delta State College" to "Delta State University," "Jackson State College" to "Jackson State University," and "Mississippi Valley State College" to "Mississippi Valley State University."

Applies to all references in provisions governing state institutions of higher learning, including bond authority, timber sales, land conveyances, faculty leaves of absence, and agricultural research programs.

Takes effect upon passage.
