Amends Section 41-7-191, Mississippi Code of 1972, to remove the prohibition on Medicaid participation for a psychiatric residential treatment facility in DeSoto County established by a hospital.

Deletes previous restrictions requiring the hospital to limit Medicaid-certified beds to 15 and restricts claims to 15 patients per day for the psychiatric residential treatment facility.

Allows the DeSoto County facility to participate fully in the Medicaid program without bed caps or patient admission limitations.

Effective July 1, 2023.
