Stephen Franks, owner of Franks Chevrolet Buick GMC in Kosciusko, Mississippi, is nominated for the 2023 TIME Dealer of the Year Award, one of the automobile industry's most prestigious honors.

Franks was selected as one of 48 nominees nationwide from more than 16,000 auto dealers and represents the Mississippi Automobile Dealers Association in the National Competition for the 54th annual award.

He began his automotive career at age 18 with a used car lot in Kosciusko, opened Franks Chevrolet in 2008, and operates two pre-owned super centers in Kosciusko and Carthage.

Franks served in leadership positions with the Mississippi Automobile Dealers Association, including chair in 2018, and was instrumental in establishing an annual leadership day at the Capitol.

His community service includes volunteering as a pilot for Pilots for Patients, logging over 125,000 flight miles and 100+ missions, and donating an annual car to the Make-A-Wish Mississippi Foundation's fundraiser.
