Commends Representative Tommy Reynolds of Tallahatchie for 44 years of service in the Mississippi House of Representatives upon his retirement at the conclusion of his current term.

Recognizes Reynolds' career accomplishments including the 1982 Education Reform Act, 1987 House Rules changes, 1992 constitutional initiative process, 1993 Court of Appeals creation, 1994 Motor Vehicle Ad Valorem Tax Reduction Fund, and 2002 legislative reapportionment plan.

Acknowledges Reynolds' leadership roles including Chairman of the Oil, Gas and Other Minerals Committee, Apportionment and Elections Committee, Local and Private Committee, and Vice Chairman of multiple Judiciary committees.

Highlights Reynolds' participation in the "House 26" group of 1984 that successfully led a 1987 revolt to change House Rules and increase democratic participation, and his service as Temporary Speaker in 2004.
