Commends Mrs. Jackie Granberry for 42 years of service to Hinds Community College, retiring as Executive Director of the Hinds Community College Foundation in January 2022.

Recognizes her career progression from counselor (hired August 6, 1979) to recruiter, Vice President for Advancement, and Foundation Executive Director.

Credits her leadership with growing the Foundation to $34.7 million in assets, $10.2 million in endowment, and $17 million in scholarship funds, which awards approximately $2.5 million annually to students.

Highlights her achievements including co-founding Hinds Connection, leading the annual Golf Fun Fest that raised $1.5 million, earning the college's prestigious 3-E Award, and establishing an endowed scholarship in her name.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to Mrs. Granberry and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
