Dr. Gruich serves as a Computer Networking and Cybersecurity Technology Instructor and has been employed at the college for nine years

The award is given by the Alumni Association based on nominations from students, faculty, and administrators evaluating teaching excellence, college service, community service, and professional development

Dr. Gruich holds degrees including an associate's from MGCCC, bachelor's from University of South Alabama, MBA from William Carey University, and Ph.D. in educational administration from University of Southern Mississippi

Prior to teaching, Dr. Gruich worked in banking as Vice President of Cybersecurity at The Peoples Bank and held various computer programming/analyst positions on Navy contracts
