Commends Representative Joel Bomgar of Madison County for his eight years of service in the Mississippi House of Representatives and his announced retirement at the conclusion of his current term.

Highlights Bomgar's service as Vice Chairman of the Medicaid Committee (2016-2020) and Vice Chairman of the Drug Policy Committee (2020-2024), and credits him with championing medical marijuana legislation that culminated in the 2022 Mississippi Medical Cannabis Act.
