Honors Mr. Norman Goetzmann Stevens, Jr., of Mount Olive, Mississippi, who passed away on April 24, 2022, and expresses sympathy to his family and friends.

Recognizes Stevens' accomplishments including his athletic career at Picayune High School and as a quarterback at Louisiana State University (1950-1953), where he was named MVP his senior season.

Acknowledges his military service as a First Lieutenant in the United States Air Force at Keesler Air Force Base and his decades-long career in highway construction and materials business across Mississippi and neighboring states.

Celebrates his faith as a devout Christian and presiding elder at Mount Olive Presbyterian Church, as well as his dedication to his two wives and five children, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to the Stevens family and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
