Prohibits any entity that acquires or holds land in Mississippi from being owned by or transferred to any entity or nonresident alien from a country hostile to U.S. interests or a known violator of human rights

Maintains existing law allowing resident aliens to acquire, hold, and dispose of land the same as Mississippi citizens

Preserves the 320-acre limit for nonresident aliens acquiring land for industrial development and the 5-acre limit for residential purposes

Retains existing provisions allowing nonresident aliens to hold liens on land and purchase at debt enforcement sales, with a 20-year limit to sell or become a citizen

Effective date of July 1, 2023
