Extends the qualifying deadline for municipal primary election candidates when a municipality completes annexation of an unincorporated area within 90 days of the primary election date

Candidates must pay a $10.00 fee to the municipal clerk at least 60 days before the first primary election to qualify for nomination

If the qualifying deadline falls on a Sunday or legal holiday, submissions will be accepted on the next business day

Amends Section 23-15-309 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 regarding municipal primary election procedures
