Extends the repeal date from July 1, 2023, to July 1, 2027, for the Town of North Carrollton's authority to levy a restaurant tax

The tax applies to gross sales proceeds from restaurants at a rate not to exceed 2%, collected in addition to all other taxes

Revenue must be used exclusively to promote tourism, parks and recreation, and economic development in the town

Requires 60% voter approval in a local election before the tax can be imposed

Tax revenue must be placed in a special fund separate from general funds and audited annually by an independent certified public accountant
