Amends Mississippi Code Section 37-7-473 to authorize school districts to convey, sell, lease, or dispose of real property for residential, mixed-use, or other development activities in addition to existing lawful uses.

Allows school boards to sell or lease property when they determine it is no longer needed for school purposes or may yield higher long-term economic value to the district.

Requires school boards to adopt a resolution finding that the property use will promote community development and improve civic, social, educational, cultural, moral, economic, or industrial welfare.

Enables school districts to retain partial, undivided, or other ownership interests in conveyed property and to set terms, conditions, and consideration as deemed appropriate by the board.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
