Amends Section 41-7-191 of Mississippi Code to remove restrictions on Medicaid participation for a 40-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility in DeSoto County that has a certificate of need.

Eliminates previous conditions that limited the facility to 15 Medicaid-certified beds and restricted Medicaid reimbursement to only 15 patients per day.

Establishes that the DeSoto County psychiatric residential treatment facility shall have no prohibition or restrictions on Medicaid program participation that would not apply to any other similar facility.

Makes the facility eligible for full Medicaid participation on equal terms with other psychiatric residential treatment facilities in the state.

Effective date: July 1, 2023.
