Extends postpartum Medicaid coverage from 60 days to up to 12 months of continuous coverage for any individual who qualifies for Medicaid as a pregnant woman

Authorizes and directs the Mississippi Division of Medicaid to implement this extended coverage to the extent allowable under federal law

Adds a new paragraph (28) to Section 43-13-115 of the Mississippi Code specifying the postpartum coverage extension

Effective date is July 1, 2023
