Establishes a comprehensive regulatory framework for pet insurance policies sold, solicited, or issued to Mississippi residents, effective July 1, 2023

Requires pet insurers to disclose policy exclusions for preexisting conditions, hereditary disorders, congenital anomalies, and chronic conditions, as well as any limitations such as waiting periods, deductibles, coinsurance, and coverage caps

Mandates disclosure of whether premiums may increase or coverage may decrease based on claim history, pet age, or geographic location changes

Authorizes any person licensed in a major insurance line and appointed by a pet insurer to sell pet insurance products, with the Commissioner of Insurance empowered to establish training requirements

Grants the Commissioner authority to issue rules and regulations governing policy disclosures, conditions, wellness program sales practices, and penalties for violations
