Maintains existing limits of 3.6 grams per day and 7.2 grams per 30-day period for over-the-counter purchases of pseudoephedrine/ephedrine products

Requires pharmacies to use the National Precursor Log Exchange (NPLEx) electronic tracking system before completing sales, with stop-sale alerts blocking purchases that exceed limits

Purchasers must be at least 18 years old and provide valid government-issued identification; transactions must be logged with purchaser information

Violations are misdemeanors punishable by fines up to $1,000 for first offense and up to $10,000 for subsequent offenses
